Voices of Discovery, Sheldon - 150 Days

Well here’s a little story about how my life went through hell and

ended up in heaven at Discovery House. I have been battling addiction

for over half of my life. I’ve struggled with recovery for the past 7

years, tried many different ways, and they all took me to that familiar

yet dark place.

This is my first time doing the 12 steps and being in a community

infused program that wasn’t just 30 or 60 days. I have learned alot and

continue to stay humble. I can notice the growth all the time. Today, I

am embracing reality, living the dream, and loving every minute of it.
