Janet Parker and the team at Parker’s Chrysler continue to honor the memory of her son Colin with a commitment to Discovery House, Addiction Recovery Homes for Men.
Discovery House hosted its annual Fall Harvest Dinner fundraiser over the weekend raising funds for men in the community facing issues of addiction.
Janet Parker, owner of Parker’s Chrysler attended the event along with General Manager, Jim Tabler, and several Parkers staff members.
Parkers presented a donation of $20,000 to support programs offered by the team at Discovery House.
“Janet’s son Colin struggled with addiction which eventually led to his life being lost. He was a beautiful soul that we lost way to early,” states Tabler.
Now, Janet Parker and the team at Parker’s Chrysler hope to raise awareness and continue the dialogue about addiction.
“We will continue to support this great organization and tremendous team working to help men in our community. We can’t bring Colin back but hopefully we can help other men in their journey and just continue the conversation,” mentions Tabler.
