Updated: 7 hours ago

At Discovery House, we believe in the power of community and the potential for transformation. This year, we're revving up our efforts to support men in recovery with a truly unique fundraiser: the "Chopper of Hope."

We're thrilled to announce the creation of a custom-built chopper, a symbol of hope and a testament to the strength of recovery. This isn't just any motorcycle; it's a labor of love, meticulously crafted by a team of specialists and, importantly, with the active participation of our current clients.

More Than a Motorcycle: A Journey of Recovery

The "Chopper of Hope" is more than a stunning machine; it's a vital part of our clients' recovery journeys. As they contribute to the design, planning, and assembly of this incredible motorcycle, they're building skills, fostering teamwork, and experiencing the power of creating something truly special.

This year's project holds a particularly special meaning as we dedicate it to the memory of our beloved former Executive Director, Jerome Abraham, who sadly lost his battle with cancer last year. His dedication to Discovery House and the individuals we serve continues to inspire us.

A Sneak Peek at the Build

We've been hard at work since January, transforming a 1971 Harley Davidson rigid frame Springer into a modern marvel with a classic soul. This custom build blends vintage aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, ensuring a truly exceptional ride. Stay tuned for updates and behind-the-scenes videos on our social media channels as we document the journey from frame to finish.
